Nolan's school had a field trip to The Farm at Swan Trails in Snohomish. It was a very wet, rainy day but we made the best of it and got to explore a really great place that we had never been to before. Nolan also learned that wearing nylon pants on the slide in the hay maze is a bad idea (he went flying off the slide and was screaming).
We came back on the weekend with Keaton and it was a beautiful sunny day! There was a lot more activities open on the weekend and we ended up spending most of the day there.
Their favorite was a giant bouncy thing. Nolan had the biggest smile the entire time he was on it.
They tried to pan for gold and Keaton thought he found some. But when we got home he looked at the rocks again and decided they weren't gold, they were brown.
Keaton got to pick out a pumpkin (Nolan got one last time). The only rule was that you had to carry it.
Everyone was so hot and tired we barely made it back to the car. We were nearly there when Keaton stepped in some thick mud and lost his boot and was standing in the mud in his sock. He looked like he was about to burst into tears. I thought it was really funny because of the look on his face and laughed so hard. He finally decided it was funny too and then got really mad at me for taking a picture of his sock.
