He wasn't a fan of the giant hamster bubbles or what ever they are called but I thought they were pretty fun.
Good picture of father and son. Maybe we will be going to another one of these picnics in 20 years when our son is running the show over there at Microsoft instead of dad.
Then yesterday we went to another summer picnic out at Lake Wilderness. When someone turns 65 in the Morgan family we have a big family reunion/picnic that summer. It happens quite often when it's a family of 9 and this summer it was James Morgan who we were celebrating!
And when there is 9 brothers and sisters that means there are lots of cousins and second cousins and so on and so on...it's hard to keep it all straight. I have found that the older you get the more important family becomes and the more you appreciate them...they drive you crazy sometimes but a lifetime of memories makes it worth it.
Here are some of the second cousins...I think these are all second cousins :) Keaton was playing "duck duck goose" in the right picture and had a huge grin on his face the whole time. Luckily no one picked him since he wouldn't have known what to do :)
We even had a pig, I think this was a first! I kept the picture small in case anyone still reading this wasn't prepared to see a giant cooked pig :)
I guess the sign of a 17 month old having a GREAT time is when he comes home with cuts and scrapes showing that he played hard and had fun. Luckily it already looked much better the day after when I took the picture, although we have already got one comment from the check out lady at Safeway.
And totally unrelated to Summer Picnics but here we all are at the SummeRun & Walk for Ovarian Cancer. Thank you to everyone that was part of it in one way or another. We walked (very slowly) for Leah Morgan and Kay Stalder. They were teachers, wives, mothers and friends with big hearts who made the world a better place for everyone who's paths they crossed.
Typical boy with scrapes a bruises. Great picture of K and TJ too.
